Kas, jei visas gyvenimas – tik žaidimas, o mes – jo personažai?

Liuksemburgo choreografė Jill Crovisier pristato spektaklį, kuriame aštuoni šokėjai iš viso pasaulio scenoje virsta gyvais archetipais: Betmenu, futbolininku, kazino šeimininkė, elfas, kaubojiška žirgų lenktynininkė – visi kartu žaidžia, varžosi, maištauja. Vizualiai ryškus, ironiškas, kupinas humoro ir netikėtų posūkių – šis spektaklis vienodai veikia tiek tuos, kurie šokio niekada nematė, tiek tuos, kurie jį gerai pažįsta.

Kritikai Liuksemburge jį pavadino „šios sezono geriausiu spektakliu" ir „choreografijos šedevru, kuris skrodžia žmogišką prigimtį chirurgo tikslumu". Liuksemburgo Didžiojo teatro premjera buvo išparduota.

Vienintelis pasirodymas Lietuvoje,  Tarptautinio šokio Aura 36 festivalio metu,  Kaune.

What if society was just a stage – and the roles we play, a game we never signed up for?

In THE GAME – GRAND FINALE, Luxembourg-based choreographer Jill Crovisier stages a sharp, ironic, and emotionally charged reflection on the systems that shape our lives. With a cast of eight performers from across the globe and rooted in three years of international research, the piece unfolds as a choreographic theatre of avatars: recognisable, exaggerated, and eerily human.

Crovisier's work moves with the precision of contemporary dance, the bite of social critique, and at times, the theatrical flair of a Bob Fosse mood – stylised gestures, glittering absurdity, and a wink at the audience. There's tension, beauty, and anger in the movement, but also a deep tenderness: a loving gaze toward the mundane things that make us continue.

Told through a distinctly female lens and emerging from a feminist dramaturgy, THE GAME – GRAND FINALE asks how we perform ourselves – in public, in private, in crisis. It's Shakespeare's "all the world's a stage," rewritten for our current moment of fragmentation, spectacle, and soft rebellion.

One performance only during the festival in Kaunas.
